Pingry Hi-Tech Camp Presentations (July 1st)

This event is the final project presentation of the campers participating in the Pingry Hi-Tech Camp Programming: Scratch and Programming: Alice. All family and friends are welcomed. The campers will present how they developed their projects and their vision for future work.

Programming: Scratch
This course is designed for boys and girls with no programming experience. The camp will use Scratch programming language developed by the MIT Media Lab. This will be the first introduction to object-based programming, with a strong foundation of computer science principles and concepts while creating animations and video games.

Programming: Alice 
This camp is designed for boys and girls with limited or no programming experience. The camp will use Alice programming language developed by Carnegie Mellon University. Campers will be programming in a 3D object environment with tiles that correspond to standard statements in programming languages such as Java and C++.
